*포세이돈의 자손인 식인 거인 종족
**오디세우스의 이름을 지어준 외할아버지 '아우톨리코스'는 헤르메스의 아들이다. 아우톨리코스라는 이름의 뜻이 '늑대 그 자체'이므로 본작에서는 그 손자와 증손자인 오디세우스와 텔레마코스를 늑대에 비유하곤 한다.
